CF-CLSU BS Fisheries Program retains Level IV AACCUP Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science in Fisheries program offered by the College of Fisheries, Central Luzon State University undergone a survey visit conducted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) on November 18-22, 2019. The assessment team headed by Dr. Suzette Q. Palla of the Iloilo State College of Fisheries, evaluated the 10 areas of the program including the VMGO, Faculty, Curriculum and Instruction, Support to students, Research, Extension and Community Involvement, Library, Physical Plant and Facilities, Laboratories, and Administration.

Based on the result of the survey visit, the BS in Fisheries program retained its Level IV accreditation. The program scored a grand mean of 4.70 with the descriptive rating of “Excellent”. The Level IV is the highest status of accreditation in the AACCUP standards; and CLSU is one of the two universities that has level IV BS Fisheries AACCUP accredited program.

Several degree courses offered by CLSU also undergone the said survey visit, these include BS in Agriculture, BS in Agricultural Engineering, BS in Business Administration, BS in Chemistry, BS in Agribusiness, BS in Civil Engineering, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
